The Playdate Cover is a protective cover that is secured magnetically to the back of the Playdate via the screws in the corners of the Playdate. The cover features indented areas where the cover aligns with the Playdate controls. The cover folds over the rear of the device while using the device.
The Playdate Cover is not compatible with the Playdate Stereo Dock and must be removed to dock the console.
On November 8th, 2023 Panic! released the Playdate Cover in teal and retired the purple cover. Panic! also teased a new color that would be exclusively available to those following their mailing list[1].
