Season Two

The second season of official Playdate games was announced in the October 2024 Playdate Update.[1] It will premiere on May 29, 2025, and will consist of 12 games, with two games being delivered per week over the course of six weeks. Season Two is also said to include an unspecified surprise.[2] This will be the first season to not be bundled with the console, costing $39.
A preview of Season Two was presented on April 19th 2025 in the Playdate Update #7[3] on YouTube.
