EXT. Rocky landscape - night

Werf's Tavern materializes on a big rock.

INT. Werf's Tavern

Tavern Owner WERF is behind the bar, serving a patron.

WERF

Zarthurian nectar. Enjoy it, my friend.

ZIMA, WAITRESS

Two Zorian sours, and make'em real sour. Those Globians at the far table are giving me lip.

WERF

Zima, you sure can dish it out. But you can't take it.

ZIMA

Don't start with me, Werf, or I'll show you something sour.

WERF

Coming right up. These oughta pucker those jerks up.

All of a sudden, Zima freezes in place.

WERF (CONT'D)

Zima, quit your theatrics! Zima!

All of the patrons seem frozen in place.

WERF (CONT'D)

SODA! What the snorknot?!

SODA, TAVERN COMPUTER

A-a-accessing [unintelligible].

WERF

Ah, not this again!

A hard liquor reboot..

He pulls out a big bottle of liquor and uncorks it before pouring down the liquid in a large cocktail glass branded "Werf's".

WERF

And a neurospike chaser.

He drops one last ingredient in.

SODA

Initializing startup sequence hiccup.

WERF

Soda, you're not going to feel so hot in the morning, but this'll get the job done.

Everyone unfreezes at once, Zima loses balance and drops a glass from her tray.

ZIMA

What? What just happened?

WERF

Don't worry, Zeem. SODA just blorked out again.
