Am I? I guess I am. I finally got some sleep last night.

NINA

Folks, this is Bren. Looks like he actually showed up. Nice to meet you, Mr. Challenger. I'm Nina.

I run this place. Okay?

BRENDEN

Okay, it's actually Brenden, but okay, boss. I guess that means you can tell us what's in the news today.

NINA

Apparently, The Star Sawyer's coming back.

BRENDEN

It's all Patsy talks about. Everything is Star Sawyer, this. Star Sawyer, that. The only time she stops gabbin' about The Star Sawyer is when she's talking about Michael Zero. Were we such fanatics when we were kids?

NINA

As far as I can tell, you've only ever listened to polta music.

BRENDEN

Well, at least those are real songs. I mean, what on Blip is a toneburst?

NINA

Beats me. But you can ask Patsy.

BRENDEN

Sure, if she ever turns the music down, maybe I'll try.
