NINA

Hi there folks! Whew, it's a scorcher today.

BRENDEN

This weather makes me sleepy.

NINA

I think we all know that, Bren.

BRENDEN

But it's a nice break from all the sludge we've been having lately. I mean, it's been nonstop sludge and static.

NINA

Well, wouldn't you know it, I kind of like the sludge.

BRENDEN

That is so you. Is there anything you don't like?

NINA

Your attitude, sometimes. Oh, I'm kidding, I'm kidding. I'm just teasing, folks. But you see what I'm dealing with here?

BRENDEN

Okay, okay. She likes the sludge. Tell us about it.

NINA

I just think it can be cozy. I like having a reason to stay in. You don't get that every day.

BRENDEN

Well, I'm about done with it. Brings me down. And don't get me started on how the psychic weather's been lately. I mean, what on Gob's blue blip?

NINA

I'm with you there.

BRENDEN

Must be all the energy up at the Observatory.

NINA

Count me out. Sludge or no sludge, I'm staying in.
