I'm joined via subspace link to the leader of the youth movement, Birdie Telstar.

It's simple. We want the Space Bending program recommissioned and the Bender restored so we can travel into the Bend and meet our comrades on the other planet and stuff.

MADELINE

MADELINE

Your companion is speaking of the so-called rogue Bender Michael Zero. It's clear that Zero was harmed by her experience in Bent Space.

BIRDIE

Mike wasn't hurt. She's healthier than you and more alive than all of us.

MADELINE

What do you plan to do here?

BIRDIE

If nobody's going to help us fix the Bender, we'll do it ourselves.
