Well, I walked by the Boredome set today. And would you believe what I overheard there? Nothing. It's crickets in Studio Z, and that's because the kids have bailed. Fortunately, we managed to wrangle their leader via subspace. Birdie Telstar, why ditch your show?

BIRDIE TELSTAR, ROGUE LEADER

Because it's not real.

GIDGET

Not real?

BIRDIE

It's all fake. Artificial. Think about the PeeDee you're watching right now. Whose is it? The device might belong to you, but Lisa Duo chooses what you see. Everything you see is on the surface. You can never look inside.

GIDGET

So what is real to you, Birdie?

BIRDIE

Mike Zero is real. The Bend is real. And Lisa Duo wants us to destroy it like it's nothing.

GIDGET

Heady stuff, kid.

BIRDIE
