Everyone sit up straight! Lisa Duo is back.

LISA DUO

Well, I'm always here. Just behind the scenes.

GIDGET

Pulling the strings, if you will.

LISA

Well, these are exceptional times.

GIDGET

First, we lose those five poor souls to who-knows-what. Then we get this Mike Zero character, bent out of shape. I had her on the show last week, by the way.

LISA

Well, that's what I'm here to address.

GIDGET

The Bend.

LISA

We need to protect our planet from whatever force claimed those five Bendonauts, and, as you say, bent Mike Zero. What do we know about the planet on the other end?

GIDGET

They have PeeDees?

LISA

And that's all we know. Do we really want a potentially disruptive civilization to penetrate subspace? What if their TV is poisonous to us?

GIDGET

So what should we do?

LISA

Cut off the signal at the source. We need to destroy the Bend before it's too late.

GIDGET
