Blippo/Show

Blippo+ is a show, and this is about analysis of it as a show.

Each show is 1 minute long, and each channel consists of 5 shows.
Video is actually streamed over the internet to the playdates. So it requires internet to see the channels.
Channels are synced for all users, because they are synched to local device time. Each show starts on the minute and the cycle starts fresh with the morning show at :00, :05, :10, :15 etc.
Nearly all segments were filmed using classic television cameras with a 4:3 aspect ratio, and then cropped for the playdate with its 5:3 aspect ratio screen. This is most apparent in Realms Beyond which regularly cuts off the host's head during wide shots. Subspace Lunchbox on the other hand is perfectly framed for 5:3 screens.

Of course the Plus in Blippo+ refers to the fact that so many streaming services have a Plus in its name: Disney+, Apple TV+, Paramount+, Discovery+, MGM+, ESPN+, NASA+ etc.
