Candles flicker.
ERICH VON ZIPPLOCH
It's the hottest reservation in town. And tonight, Mr. and Mrs. Quotient have a table at this bastion of fine dining. Her glass of vermouth is never empty. His steak tantalizingly toothsome.
The cut of meat? Why, that's Chef Antoine's secret recipe.
After dinner, Mr. and Mrs. Quotient are offered one more delectable experience: a romantic spa for two.
During the massage, their muscles are plied with oil of tarragon. They enjoy a savory steam. And upon entering the Jacuzzi, their troubles melt away like clarified butter.
Neither notices that they've begun to boil, but by then, it's too late - for Chef Antoine is preparing for second service.
Bon appétit. It's time to eat - chez Realms Beyond.
