Imagine, if you will, a menagerie. Where meowls, howls and squeaks parley, and where, for the mice, at least, Dr. Mallory Magenta's mazes are mere cake walks.
For in the name of science, Dr. Magenta molds animals' minds. At first, an earthworm solves an equation. A prawn makes a pawn sacrifice. But before too long, a group of gerbils requisitions the break room for their physics conference. And is that the spaniel, Daniel, who no longer needs the manual?
Dr. Magenta's experiments reach their conclusion. At the suggestion of a particularly persuasive Shih Tzu, she finds the flavor of kibble to be unexpectedly moreish.
In a maze of her own making, Dr. Magenta finds it is not the beasts who have become more Blippian. It is she who has become the beast. Here, in Realms Beyond.
