Lonely is the morning for the baker Bidra Bloom. The suns have not yet risen as she waits for the dough to rise.
Which is why Bidra bites when a gentleman representing Multiplication Incorporated arrives with a deal: two Bidras for the price of one. One simple cloning procedure, and Bidra can catch up with her sleep as her double kneads the daily bread.
The new Bidra is as skilled a baker as the original, but she is not a morning person either. And so it is no surprise, when that very same representative comes calling again, that this Bidra is convinced a clone might come in handy.
And so whilst Bidra sleeps the sleep of the dead, Cidra crashes on the couch. Didra is on vacation, and Phidra, well, she's about to get a visit from a most persuasive vendor.
After all, there's a sucker cloned every minute in the Realms Beyond.
