OTTO FROTTO (V/O)
Very interesting, very diverse collection of minerals here. Is this all yours?
Several semi-transparent objects with organic-like shapes, displayed on transparent stands.
GUEST
Yeah, I've been collecting interesting rocks since I was a little kid. The big one in the back is from the Harmonious Caves, or right outside of there. So you can imagine maybe The Star Sawyer touched it once, or at least it's heard her singing. The little one, I cracked myself at geology camp.
OTTO
And the coral?
GUEST
That one's from when my family visited the Elastic Islands. We did a lot of swimming in the lagoons there, and you're really not supposed to take anything from the ocean. But I was young and I didn't know.
OTTO
Oh, we'll let it slide, because this coral is really a special specimen. This particular style of wave-formed coral is out of fashion now. The sea creatures are more interested in angular forms: squares, isosceles triangles, jagged edges. So you could call this ocean retro.
Many hands repeatedly point at the objects.
And there's actually quite a considerable collectors market for these vintage coral styles - until the currents change, that is.
