Week 1

  • Is it dark inside? Take a deep breath. Together we'll work letting in some light.
  • First, find your nearest window. It may be behind you.
  • Face the window with the blinds still closed. Bring your nose to the blinds.
  • Visualize the other side of the window. Is it a blue sky? Are both suns shining?
  • Is there a skypecker feeder buzzing with life? A cluster of lovely moonflowers?
  • Savor this vision. You don't need to open the blinds today. But doesn't it seem less daunting than yesterday?

Week 2

  • Communication can be hard. Let's work on learning to send a message.
  • First, think of the intended recipient. Who do you need to talk to?
  • Visualize that person in your mind. In your mental image, they are open and receptive.
  • They are your friend. They are listening.
  • Now thing of what you would like to say to them. Speak it out loud, if you like.
  • Look at you! You've just taken a big first step towards communication.

Week 3

  • Afraid to leave the house? I understand.
  • It's a fast-moving world, full of characters, and it can be hard to keep up.
  • And now there are new unknowns to contend with-on a galactic scale.
  • Repeat after me: nothing out there can truly hurt me. It's all in good fun.
  • Visualize your consciousness particles drifting through the psychosphere, mingling with everyone else's.
  • They're nice and warm, and they're having a good time. So are you.
  • I believe in you! Love, **doctorMinette

Week 4

  • Is it feeling difficult to put down your PeeDee?
  • How many hours has it been since you have eaten, slept, or looked up from this screen?
  • PeeDee compulsion is a sign of entertainment psychosis, and it affects many Blippians.
  • Those with entertainment psychosis routinely mistake the events happening on their PeeDee for real life.
  • They also feel a strong desire to act and dress like characters on their PeeDee screen.
  • Unortunately, there is no cure.

Week 5

  • Making friends as a shut-in can be tricky. But it's not impossible.
  • There are plenty of communities right here on Femtofax that you can join.
  • All you need to make friends on Femtofax is a PeeDee and some shared interests!
  • And if you can't find a suitable Femtofax community, consider starting one.
  • As an admin, you'll have responsibilities, but you will also gain the respect of others.
  • And all this from the safety of your couch!
  • I believe in you! Love, **doctorMinette

Week 6

  • Feeling generally anxious? You might be dealing with a newness allergy.
  • The best therapy for newness sensitivity is gradual exposure to the new stimulus.
  • Every day, I want you to pick one small thing to do that's new. It doesn't have to be extravagant.
  • For example, change the, parting of your hair. Put ice in your orb coffee. Open the blinds just a bit.
  • Don't fight your reaction to change. Simply sit with the feeling and let it pass through your body.
  • Once you're acclimated, you can begin working towards changing the channel.
  • I believe in you! Love, **doctorMinette

Week 7

  • Getting out of bed is an important part of every day.
  • It may seem like a lot, but remember: you can't get into bed if you don't get out of it first!
  • The first step is sitting up. Can you do that for me?
  • Great. Now, slip one leg out from under the blanket. Feel the air on your toes.
  • The second leg comes much more easily, doesn't it? Now stand up.
  • You did it! Now head over to the couch, you deserve a break.
  • I believe in you! Love, **doctorMinette

Week 8

  • Feeling lonely? Science shows us that we're actually never alone.
  • The air is rich in diffuse consciousness particles, so every breath brings us closer to our fellow Blippians!
  • We can never be lonely, so long as we are breathing.
  • Of course, these are just trace particles. They're not strong enough to interfere with your sense of self.
  • Breathing in full-strength consciousness particles would be something very different indeed!
  • That would make you a million-in-one-literally.
  • I believe in you! Love, **doctorMinette

Week 9

  • Do you ever feel like you're losing control?
  • Like other people have too much say over your life?
  • An important part of being in a community is sharing responsibilities-and control.
  • That way, everyone gets their say!
  • Consider this: what do you really have to lose by letting someone care about you?
  • Whatever you give up, you gain back in spades.
  • I believe in you! Love, **doctorMinette

Week 10

  • Change can be difficult, but it's an important part of life.
  • Sometimes change can be small. Sometimes it can be very, very big.
  • Sometimes adapting to those bigger changes can mean changing a little bit yourself.
  • For example, by taking risks you wouldn't ordinarily take.
  • Other times, it just takes patience to weather the transitions life throws your way.
  • Things are always moving here. But don't worry if you can't keep up-there's always reruns.
  • I believe in you! Love, **doctorMinette
