Transcript
Ned Telson, host
"Oh. Greetings thinkers. Welcome to Brain Drain, where we jumpstart consciousness particles in preserved neural matter long enough to chat with Blippians past."
Title card: "BRAIN DRAIN"
"My guest today is the alchemist Penciladus. Hiya, Pencil. You're dead."
Penciladus
"An alchemist never dies."
Ned
"Well, your body sure did. But your consciousness particles are still with us."
Penciladus
"Consciousness... particles?"
Ned
"Let me think real quick how I can explain this."
He grabs Hermes B. Have's book and reads:
"Upon the demise of your corporeal being, your elemental aether diffused into the celestial firmament. Hmm. And then I drew your vital emanations into this vessel for the purpose of divinatory discourse. How's that track?"
Penciladus
"Then my elixir of life worked!"
Ned is stirring a strange liquid in a small glass container.
Ned
"What'd you put in that cocktail, anyway?"
Penciladus
"Arsenic, liquid magma from Mount Magnavox, and the spores from an extemely rare and toxic fungus. Why do you ask?"
Ned gulps down the weird liquid.
Ned
"No reason."
